Papers, 1929-1968.

This collection of assorted papers is organized into project/subject files (folders 1-14) and more general files (folders 15-20). The project/subject files contain duplicates, partial and complete additional draft copies and translations of scripts for film and radio projects, lectures, articles, interviews and project proposals, some with vertical file material such as correspondence relating to the project/subject, press releases, press clippings, programs, invitations, posters and catalogues. The general files contain professional correspondence and printed material of a more general nature. The collection documents the life and work of Hans Richter predominantly after 1941, but with some later transcripts of earlier material. It substantially duplicates material in the Richter Archive at the Museum of Modern Art (N.Y.).
